An Ear Edit takes a wider view, creating an intentional plan for your entire ear so every placement and piece of jewelry feels considered, balanced and distinctly yours.

An Ear Edit is a dedicated design appointment for clients who want to thoughtfully create, refine or complete their curated ear.
Rather than focusing on one piercing or one new piece of jewelry, we consider the ear as a whole. We look at your existing piercings, your anatomy, the jewelry you currently wear and the overall feeling you want to create.
The goal is not to fill every available space. It is to find the right balance between jewelry, placement and negative space—allowing each piece to feel intentional on its own while still belonging to the larger design.
Designed Around You
Every ear is different, which means every Ear Edit should be different too.
Your anatomy helps determine which placements are possible, but your personal style shapes the direction. You may prefer something delicate and minimal, a more layered collection of gold and gemstones, or a mix that feels collected over time.
We also consider your lifestyle. How you sleep, the headphones you wear, your work environment and your comfort with the healing process can all influence which piercings make sense for you.
An Ear Edit brings those details together to create a plan that is both beautiful and realistic.
Working With What You Already Have
You do not need to begin with a blank canvas.
Many Ear Edits start with existing piercings or jewelry that no longer feels cohesive. We can help reposition the visual focus, introduce new pieces or identify future placements that create better balance throughout the ear.
Sometimes the most impactful change is a new piercing. Other times, refreshing the jewelry in existing placements is enough to make the entire ear feel more considered.
We will work with the pieces you love and help you decide what should remain, what could be updated and where something new may complete the design.
A Plan That Can Grow With You
A curated ear does not need to be completed in a single appointment.
In many cases, the best approach is to create a plan that unfolds gradually. This allows each new piercing the time and space it needs to heal while giving you the freedom to build your collection thoughtfully.
Your Ear Edit may include jewelry recommendations, potential piercing placements and an order for completing the design over time. Whether you begin with one new piece or several, you will leave with a clear vision for where your ear can go next.
Ear Edit or Piercing Appointment?
Every piercing appointment at Adorned includes a consultation. We will assess your anatomy, discuss placement and help you select jewelry for the piercing you are receiving that day.
An Ear Edit is a more in-depth experience. It is designed for clients who want to step back and consider the full ear—including existing piercings, jewelry changes, future placements and the overall balance of the finished design.
If you already know which piercing you want, a regular piercing appointment is likely the right choice. If you want help creating a complete vision, an Ear Edit gives us the dedicated time to design it together.
In-Studio and Virtual Ear Edits
In-studio Ear Edits are available for clients who want to explore jewelry, assess anatomy and create their plan with us in person. The appointment is $125 and is complimentary with a jewelry purchase of $400 or more during the same visit.
For clients outside the Augusta area, Virtual Ear Edits offer the same thoughtful approach from wherever you are. Using clear photographs and information about your current piercings, style and goals, we can develop a personalized direction for your ear remotely. Virtual Ear Edits are $75 and are also complimentary with a jewelry purchase of $300 or more.
